About this quote
From Ether and Me, or "Just Relax" (G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1929), Rogers's account of an illness and the doctors who came to treat him. He has just said the old country doctor had to try to cure you whatever end of you was wrong. The popular wording "The best doctor in the world is the veterinarian" drops the opening words.
