Privacy
Must Repeat is a small, independent site. This page says what it collects and what it does with it. Last updated October 21, 2026.
What we collect
Almost nothing. You can read every page without giving us anything. The only time you send us information is when you use the contact form. Then we receive:
- your email address, so we can reply
- your message, or if you are suggesting a quote, the quote, who said it and where you saw it
- which kind of message it is (suggest a quote, report a mistake, or general)
What we do with it
- The form sends your message to the person who runs the site, by email, through an email service called Resend. We do not save it in a database.
- We use your email address only to answer you. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a list.
- We may keep the email conversation for as long as it is useful, for example to check a reported mistake. Ask us through the contact form and we will delete it.
Spam protection
To stop automated spam, the form has a hidden field and a timer, and it briefly counts how many messages come from one internet address. That count lives in the server’s memory for about an hour and is not saved.
Cookies and tracking
- We do not set cookies, run ads or use analytics or tracking scripts.
- If you press the sun or moon button, your light or dark choice is saved in your own browser so the next page matches. It never leaves your device.
- Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as the page requested and the internet address) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them to follow individual visitors.
Other sites
Sources link to outside archives such as the National Archives and the Internet Archive. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
Changes
If this changes, for example if we add analytics or affiliate links, we will update this page first and change the date at the top.
